A foam fire truck is a type of fire truck equipped with a fire pump, water tank, foam concentrate tank, and devices that mix water and foam concentrate. It also features a foam proportioning control system, a jet pipeline, a mixed solution pipeline, a cleaning pipeline, an emergency pipeline, an external suction pipeline, a liquid injection pipeline, and a liquid discharge pipeline. These components work together to spray a foam mixture according to a specific proportion of foam and water.
Foam Firefighting Inside the Tank
Open the water tank discharge valve of the foam fire truck, allowing water from the tank to flow into the pump, so that the pump can run smoothly under the required conditions. Open the foam fire truck's water cannon discharge valve or the side discharge valve of the pump, and sequentially open the foam induction valve and the internal suction foam valve.
Adjust the electronic throttle knob, mix the foam concentrate into the water pump inlet pipe network with the jet water, and extinguish the fire using the fire cannon or foam gun. After the foam is exhausted, close the internal suction foam valve and foam induction valve in sequence to stop adding foam concentrate.
External Foam Firefighting
Connect the external foam suction hose to the foam fire truck and insert the external foam suction hose into the foam concentrate drum. Open the foam fire truck's water tank discharge valve to allow tank water to flow into the pump, ensuring the pump runs smoothly under the required conditions. Open the water cannon discharge valve or the side discharge valve of the pump, and open the foam induction valve.
Adjust the electronic throttle knob, mix the foam concentrate into the water pump inlet pipe network with the jet water, and extinguish the fire using the fire cannon or foam gun. Once the foam is exhausted, close the foam induction valve to stop adding foam concentrate.
Foam Pipeline Cleaning
The design of pipeline cleaning concepts may vary in terms of specific cleaning locations and areas, but the overall route and direction will not change significantly. Under normal circumstances, to enter the foam fire truck's cleaning phase, first close the internal suction foam valve, then sequentially open the water tank discharge valve, the foam induction and cleaning valve, and any discharge valve. Adjust the electronic throttle knob until clean water flows out of the pipeline, and then complete the cleaning.
